𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐃𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞 – 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢-𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭!

Andrea Raaths Duarté, is not just the sweetheart of the SA Rally scene, not just a pretty face but a semi-finalist of the Motoring Women Of The Year Competition. This initiative by MFC a division of Nedbank aims to recognize women who contribute and achieve great heights in the Motoring Sector. Andrea is contending in the category of Woman in Motorsport.

Other than having an immense passion for speed, Andrea cares for people and is always courteous, and treats them with respect.​

We would like to emphasize that our selection of the semi-finalists was not solely based on their credentials, experience, or accomplishments, but also on their commitment and enthusiasm towards our goal of empowering and supporting women in our trade.

These finalists understand that this is more than just a contest, but a movement to elevate and educate Women In Motoring South Africa. Their dedication, hard work, and contributions have been recognized by their superiors, and we are proud to have advanced them to the Semi-Finals.

Andrea hails from a motorsport family. The proverbial apple did indeed not fall far from the tree. Dad Anton Raaths, is an old hand in Circuit racing and the 2022 Northern Regions Rally Champion. Mom Isabel was an avid Drag Racing driver and Andrea’s Rally Navigator these days. Petrol fumes and adrenaline is the food that feeds her soul. Let’s make sure our girl gets the support she needs. Thereafter, their profiles will be uploaded to the MFC website in no particular order and the voting process will commence from scratch once again.

Note Well: The position the semi-finalist achieves in the top 5 from the Facebook likes will not necessarily place her in the same position on the MFC website voting. The voting will be stricter, and confidential and the final results will be audited.

The Voting Process will close on the 15th of September 2023.

The winner will be announced at the Motoring Women Of The Year Awards powered by Mfc a Division of Nedbank, and Avo SuperShop by Nedbank.
