2025 Fouriesburg Rally Cancelled Due to Unprecedented Wet Conditions
Fouriesburg, South Africa – The organizing committee of the 2025 Fouriesburg Rally regrets to announce the cancellation of this year’s event due to continued wet conditions in the region. Unusually high winter rainfall during July and August—virtually unheard of for this time of year—has left local farmers still harvesting crops from the previous season.
As organizers, we are reliant on our farmers for the use of their land to create rally stages. We work closely with them and always take their guidance to ensure the safety and sustainability of the event. The current conditions have made it impossible to prepare safe rally routes without disrupting essential agricultural activities.
We sincerely thank our farmers, Fouriesburg Tourism, and all the role players who have supported us and contributed to the rally over the years. Their dedication and partnership are at the heart of this event, and we are deeply grateful for their ongoing cooperation and understanding during this challenging time.
We understand the disappointment this circumstance brings to our competitors, fans, and the Fouriesburg community, and we extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Looking ahead, we are already planning for the Fouriesburg Rally to take place in September 2026 and look forward to welcoming everyone back under better conditions.
In the meantime, we invite all rally enthusiasts to join us for the grand finale of the season at the 2025 TRACN4 Rally, scheduled for 31 October and 1 November in Dullstroom.
