A game-changing rally season awaits.
Already 1 month into the year 2025, and this rally season will bring with it exciting changes and some interesting announcements. All in an effort to keep our sport GREAT, as some guy from America keeps telling the world. A couple of twists and turns, maybe a new location or two to go race at, and who knows, maybe a whole new concept on how we will crown the 2025 SA NATIONAL RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP’s new champions.
This year’s calendar has been quite the juggling act to finalise, with lots of discussions and negotiations going on in the background. Finally, and THANK YOU for your patience, we have sort of “pencilled in” the plan for this season. Not forgetting that life happens while we make plans, as prophesised by the late John Lenon.
Without letting too many cats out the bag, the NRC Rally working group aims to announce to our competitors somewhere in February the changes and revelations that WILL keep this championship growing, and that includes, of course, our regional boys and girls too.
The finalised 2025 Standing Supplementary Regulations are also being updated and will be released in February. May I wish our competitors, officials, sponsors, landowners, organisers, and our supporters an INCREDIBLE 2025 that you will always remember for the right reasons.
In the meantime, prep those cars, pencil in the dates and see you out amongst the dust clouds somewhere for an epic new Rally season.
